In this webinar, participants will develop a working knowledge of teaching strategies that can be helpful in accelerating student progress in learning and reading in English. 
 
What:     Reading Comprehension: Strategies for Success
               Webinar on English teaching, organized by the Regional English
               Language Office for the Andean Region at the U.S. Embassy in Lima.

Who:      Katie Bain, English Language Fellow.
               Katie has been an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
               teacher in Baltimore Schools for ten years, working in K-12 schools, at
               Baltimore City Community College, at Towson University, and through the
               International Rescue Committee.    Katie received her Bachelor’s degree
               in ESL education from Northwestern College and her Master’s degree in
               Reading Education from Towson University. She currently is an English
               Language Fellow in Barranquilla, Colombia.
         
When:    Wednesday, January 23rd at 4:00pm - 5:00pm (Peru Time).
               Friday, January 25th at 8:30am - 9:30am (Peru Time).
