Career Development for Teachers of English

 
We are seeking proposals from potential presenters and workshop leaders on a wide range of innovative topics and from a
variety of language teaching backgrounds.
 
Whether you are an English language teacher, researcher or practitioner, if you would like to share your innovative techniques from the classroom, or cutting-edge research, please put forward your proposal today.
 
Whether you have little experience of presenting in such a context but would like to share your tips from the classroom, or if you have particular expertise finely honed down the years, we would be delighted to read your proposal.

Are you thinking of making a career teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL)?  Already qualified with a CELTA or Trinity Certificate in TESOL and looking for opportunities abroad?
 
The British Council employs over 2000 teachers worldwide and we're growing. This year we need to recruit around 800 teachers and Senior Teachers to work for us on a variety of contracts overseas.
 
Drop in any time on Thursday 1 August from 1830 until 2030, for short presentations, and the chance to discuss opportunities, over refreshments, with current British Council teachers and recruiting managers based in the Middle East and North Africa.
 
 
The event is free of charge, but places are limited.
