It is with great pleasure that IATEFL-PERU share this report on two successful academic events:
INTERCULTURAL CHRISTMAS in ELT
December 1st, 2012
Britanico Auditorium – San Borja
In this workshop we had Intercultural Christmas Activities delivered by Leo Marin and then the outstanding hands-on workshop which involved working on designing a Christmas tree, Christmas cards, Reindeer sandwich, craft work ideas and Christmas carols by the IATEFL-PERU Young Learners SIG Coordinator, Janet Valdez .A brilliant presentation!
Both workshops covered areas such as:
- Vocabulary (Ways of presenting, practising, producing- recycling. Also vocabulary specific to the workshop topic.)
- Games
- Christmas cards ,Christmas Around the world
Participants were also given an Intercultural Christmas Resource Pack and we had a nice Christmas Celebration , toasting with soda to the best to come in 2013.
Our deepest gratitude to Mr. Thomas Malcomson, Britanico General Manager for making this event possible , having San Borja Auditorium as the venue.
To Miss Cecilia Kruger, Britanico Marketing Manager , for the nice Britanico bags, notebooks and pencils which participants happily received.
To Miss Carla Cruz, Board member of the SIG Young Learners for kindly designed the small Christmas trees with IATEFL-PERU Christmas and New Year wishes that were given to each participant.
To Mr. Ruben Borbor, new board member of IATEFL-PERU who did it great!
This event was an absolute inspirational and cozy celebration!
