We are writing to let you know of an ELT event which may be of interest to you. On the evening of Tuesday 3 April, we are holding a seminar in Exeter, with well-renowned teachers/trainers and writers, Luke Meddings and Jamie Keddie. We will be streaming the event live online, so even if you are not based in the South West, you don’t need to miss out!During the evening, we will create a working classroom scenario, with intermediate level English language learners brought in from a local school, and Luke and Jamie will be putting their unique teaching methodologies into practice. Please find more information on the invitation attached.

Lesson Planning
What kinds of things are impotant to include in a lesson plan? How can we create lesson plans that will be more useful and more effective? In the upcoming webinar, we will discuss these topics, examine sample plans, and tackle common pitfalls. Participants should have lesson planning questions in mind so that we can address those too! Please join us for this important session for English teachers of all levels.
What: Lesson Planning. Webinar on English teaching, organized by the
Regional English Language Office for the Andean Region at the
US Embassy in Lima.
Who: Vicky Holdridge, Senior English Language Fellow.
Vicky Holdridge earned a Masters in Teaching from the School of
International Training. She has ten years of experience teaching English
and training teachers, and is the co-author of a text book series called
Interactive English. Her specialty is creating easy, effective, and engaging
class activities. Vicky is now the Senior English Language Fellow here in
Peru and looks forward to collaborating with teachers and sharing ideas.
When: Wednesday, March 7th from 4:00pm - 5:00pm (Peru time).
Friday, March 9th from 8:30am - 9:30am (Peru time).
