Inés Torres de Muñoz, Academic Director of the Centro Ecuatoriano Norteamericano in Loja, Ecuador.   What:     Use of Book Club with English Language Learners Webinar on English teaching, organized by the Regional English Language Office for the Andean Region at the U.S Embassy in Lima. Who:     Dr. Ali CullertonShe is a longtime educator and researcher from Chicago, Illinois. She received her Ph.D. in Education: Literacy, Language and Culture at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is involved in research associated with literacy, language, education and immigration studies. Ali continues to teach, conduct research and work with teachers in order to prepare them for the shifting demographic makeup of youth in the United States and abroad. Dr. Cullerton specializes in teacher training on the themes of language learning and literacy. Cullerton is currently serving as an English Language Fellow with Georgetown University and the State Department at the Centro Ecuatoriano Norteamericano: Global Quality English in Loja, Ecuador. She was the Dean of the School of Languages of the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja, Ecuador (UTPL); Director of the Research Center in English of UTPL; English Teacher for 10 years at UTPL and she was in charge of the Distance Education University Network of UTPL and in charge of International Networks at UTPL. She is currently the Academic Director of the Binational Center in Loja.
