Abstract
Task-Based Language Teaching
Join this web seminar to learn what task-based language teaching is and how it is beneficial in the language classroom. We will also analyze examples of task-based lesson plans, giving teachers suggestions for how to maximize tasks in their own teaching.
Our Speaker
Stephanie Hanson, Senior English Language Fellow based in Ecuador
Stephanie received her M.A. in TESOL from the University of Illinois and has taught and trained teachers in the United States, China, South Korea, Turkey, and Indonesia. Stephanie is especially interested in the teaching of speaking and pronunciation, computer-assisted language learning (TICS), and cross-cultural communication. In her free time, Stephanie studies Spanish, Ecuadorian food, and salsa dancing.
