Integrating the Four Skills
Listening and speaking occur simultaneously in real life discourse and are not mutually exclusive. For this reason, it is possible to integrate reading and writing skills into a communicative activity. This presentation will provide a rich opportunity for clarifying and refining these skills, but most importantly, it will build the competences to develop our students’ skills. This webinar aims to strengthen our  student's receptive and productive skills, which are the key to success in a changing world.
Efraín Punto

Efraín holds a degree in Education with a major in English from Federico Villarreal University (Peru) and also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English (ECPE). In addition, he is a Master’s graduate in Human Resources and Knowledge Management at FUNIBER. Efraín is a translator and an interpreter, and has been an English teacher and coordinator for more than 10 years. He is currently working in Lima (Peru) at Centro de Idiomas de la Universidad del Pacífico, ICPNA (US-Peru Binational Center) and COAR (Colegio de Alto Rendimiento).

Invitation - Conference: Skills for the 21st Century: Becoming Citizens of Tomorrow’s World Today

Skills for the 21st Century: Becoming Citizens of Tomorrow’s World Today

Somebody once said that the only constant in teaching is change, and the more flexible we are in our understanding and use of technologies, pedagogy and our content areas, the more prepared we will be to integrate and teach with them. But… is it only with this knowledge as a foundation that teachers can be 21st century-ready?
It is our duty nowadays to help our students connect learning with real life and to provide them with the necessary skills to prepare them for success and, as educators, we are determined to help all students reach their full potential. This is no small challenge, and it is our responsibility to prepare ourselves for the unique demands of the 21st century.
Join us to discover ways you can help your students –and yourself– become the kind of global citizens the world now needs.
